7 years ago today, Father’s Day 2015 I had a double bleed stroke. I’d lived with migraines since childhood. In my 20’s the MRI technology could not reveal any issue. Decades later the cause, a congenital DVA (developmental vein abnormality in layman’s terms) ruptured. A trip to FL Hospital ER ended in an airflight to Tampa General. Ten days in NICU, 5 in Nuerology unit. God’s plan. So many Devine interventions and miracles. Seven years later I still live with the daily headache, about a 3 on the scale.
