Spilt, but STILL

Isaiah 64:8 NASB But now, LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the work of Your hand.

Your world might be collapsing and you feel crushed and broken.

James 1:2-4 HCSB 2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

COMPLETE work. If there is still a piece of you not yielding to His potter’s hands, you will be broken and reshaped, molded into His image.

God uses broken vessels, not perfect. The world sees people as perfect and good.

Broken? Let His light shine through your brokenness.

Romans 3:10 NASB As it is written: “There is no righteous Person, not even one;

Philippians 2:17 NASB

But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.

When your world crumbles and shatters you, God is STILL here. He is STILL on His throne. He is STILL in control. He STIlLL loves you. He STILL cares. He STILL has a specific and perfect plan for you. You can STILL trust Him.

If you truly are His, truly His servant, you are willing to be broken, reshaped on His potter’s wheel. You might be scarred, chipped, leak; not perfect yet whole…. STILL usable.
